The Result

Over 450 local delegates from Japan attended the interactive conference sessions including presentations from the IoT, UBB/5G, Cloud and Data Center Network business units. 760 demonstrations were conducted in the exhibition pavilion, where delegates were able to view Nokia’s latest solutions, interact with the demonstrations and have their questions answered in real time.

Conference Works was key in the successful delivery of the event, ensuring every aspect of the show was delivered maintaining a high-quality brand experience for all who attended.


Event Brief

Nokia provided us with some specific targets to achieve in executing the Connected Future event. We were required to position Nokia as a technology innovator and top market leader for the global nervous system with an end-to-end portfolio. The event also needed to drive growth and show Nokia’s wide portfolio, partner ecosystem and service expertise in IoT, UBB/5G, Cloud and Data Center Networks.

The Connected Future event also needed to build thought leadership and new market development in vertical industries: public sector, transportation, webscale, and large enterprises. In addition, qualified leads needed to be generated, 2020 pipelines were to be built, and staff were to be given the opportunity to drive new business and provide on-going business engagement. Finally, the Connected Future event needed to showcase Nokia’s latest product portfolio and technological innovation to support sales and order intake.

Scope of Services

Full event and project management

Creative concept and delivery, venue negotiation, contracting and management, audio visual design, collaboration, and management, catering management, scheduled work in progress meetings, third party supplier liaison, booking and management, budget management and reconciliation.


Website design, build and deployment, edm design, build and deployment, social media, printed onsite materials.

Registration management

Online form design and management, all attendee correspondence, onsite registration, managing payments, including invoicing and debtor management.

Exhibition management

Design of live demonstration zone, coordination of suppliers and demo zone attendees, bump in and bump out.

Complete onsite management

Bump in and bump out logistics, event run schedules and OH&S checklists and risk assessments.

Perhaps one day we’ll do an event together that doesn’t involve a sudden doubling in size, change of location or the absence of venue staff….but where would the fun be in that?
